How it works

Step 1

Log the assignment

Paste the instructions. We use distributed practice to break the work into small steps spread out before the due date — so nothing piles up.

Step 2

Guess the time

Before each step, your student guesses how long it will take. Comparing the guess to the actual time is how time sense gets built over weeks.

Step 3

Work with the coach

Our Socratic coach asks questions instead of giving answers. It guides the student to think it through — which is how understanding actually forms.

Step 4

Earn points

Points for starting, focusing, and finishing. You choose what they're worth at home. Immediate rewards are far more effective for ADHD than grades weeks away.

What this is not

It is not an answer machine, and it is not a set of brain-training games. Research shows students get better at the games without getting better at school — working memory gains don't transfer to real academic tasks (Melby-Lervåg & Hulme, 2013. Developmental Psychology, 49(2), 270–291). We work on real assignments instead.
